Hardee County has the highest percentage of persons living below poverty level. Due to the income limitations on many of Hardee County’s citizens the current low-cost spay and neuter program offered by one of three veterinarians in their county is still beyond reach. Florida Animal Friend’s grants will help them get one-step closer in creating a low-cost spay and neuter program in their county.
